The Mission of the African Connection is to use the power of community radio to aid empowerment and tackle disadvantage .

 VISION

The African Connection exists to provide niche, high quality, community radio programmes to members of the African Community in South London and beyond. So that the various segments of the community can access this service not just as listeners but also as programme producers and radio presenters.

OBJECTIVES

Empower - Empower ourselves individually and collectively so that we can be in more control of our lives.

Educate - Training and self development is very vital to our progress as individuals and collectively as a community therefore we plan to provide platforms and opportunities where skills, knowledge and understanding can be acquired.

Engage - Getting the community to participate and to get involved in community radio, local affairs and common issues.

Enable - Connecting community members to opportunities whereby their full potentials can be realized

Entertain - Providing entertainment forums, activities and radio shows

Express - Communicating our thoughts, concerns, hopes and issues.
